The breed you love the most

Just curious as to what shampoo people use on their Beardies and how often they groom their Beardies?

Hi Suzanne!. I've got a 10 months old male Beardie, alled Denzel. His fantastic goomer uses Panten Shampoo and Conditioner. His hair is as beauty and long as you can´t imagine. The secrets for grooming are: a) First of all you've got to get an specialized groomer. This is THE key. Twice a months if the dog dosn't get mudd too much.
b) After his baths you¡ve got to comb your dog hais twice a week that's the way in which you doesn't spoilt its subhair-
c) Never dries its hair with tourbine driers or professional driers. They nod their hair.

I hope what I tell you be usefull for you...If you have some others questions I'll gratefully answer you.

Regards,
Silvia

i use PlushPuppy shampoo and conditioner. It is very good and has different types for different types of hair. It is popular with beardie and afgan owners. rub it down the length of the hair rather than how we would wash our hair. they have a uk distributer 01278684035 and website www.plushpuppy.co.uk

:D

Thank you for your replies. I'll 'come clean' and confess I am a dog groomer as well as a Beardie companion. I groom my girls every 1-2 weeks and use JDS insecticidal or Dezynadogs norishing shampoo. Was just curious as to what others used!

MY BEARDIE GETS A GOOD GROOM ONCE A WEEK, BATHED AT THE LOCAL VET EVERY SECOND TO THIRD WEEK. THEY USE AN OATMEAL SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER ON HIM AND THEN I USE THE KELCO DE MATT SPRAY. ALWAYS LOOKS GOOD. I THINK THE SHAMPOO IS CALLED EPISOOTHE.
