The breed you love the most

Cooper nipped a child who was trying to play with him. I'm sure this is a herding instinct because he has never shown a hint of aggression. Does anyone have any good tips on how to train him not to do this?

How old is Cooper. They do tend to "nip" in play and it is part of the herding instinct. I'm not sure how you could prevent it other than watch him around small children -- beardies are almost never mean and they will try to herd kids, especially little ones. I have a 2 1/2 yr old neighbor that my Channing would love to herd -- I just keep a close watch on her around him and try to keep her under control (ha! ha! she is only 2 herself and still full of puppy stuff).

He is 7 years old. I've had him for four years. (He's a rescue.)
