So many breeders and owners of Bearded Collie must have a group where one can ask,talk and discuss different temprements, illness ,why we do show and how to train fore shows.

- Hei from Bergen Norway .I have 7 beardis at home and 3 living at co owners. Natterjack Blue Bounty "Treacle" is no staying perment with me the rest of the BC's at kennel T-BOB.

- About Me:
- 56 years old and dedicated to the Beardis...I got my first Bearded Collie In 1978 from Røsneskilens Kennel.I starded my breeding many years later and through these years only 8 litters. Through the years ,it has been beside of shows , competisions in obidience and working. I have taken courses realted to dogs in health and breeding,in behave ,mentality and instructor fore training dogs .I am a stuart and have my own courses in "How to Handle dogs fore show" .I have been chairman in the Hungarian and Bearded Collie Club in Norway and fore many years also casier .Throug many years casier fore New Foundlands Club in Bergen .Judge many puppieshows all breed. Present, auditor fore Norwegian Kennel Club Region Hordaland .

Det er bedre om du napper vekk hårene som står rett foran øynene. I ørene bruker du ørepudder så løsner hårene og det gjør ikke vondt. Om du legger skejgget ned og en del av luggen bakover ser du at det kommer frem en stjerne i blisset. Før nappet vi vekk hårene mellom øynene slik at det dannet seg en fin bue rundt øynene. Jeg gjør dette fortsatt diskre på alle mine.Bruker lite strikk i håret selv om de har lange lugger...
Et spørsmål, går det an å klippe en trekant foran øynene til beardisen? Gjorde det på briarden jeg hadde før, for å forhindre hår som stakk inn på øynene. Sliter med det nå, går ikke an å få alt opp i hårstrikket, og det hender det blir verk hvis noe kommer innpå og gnager. Ser at det står at man ikke skal klippe på nettet, men får man merknad på det i en utstillingsring?

No ,ufortunaterly I had to put the last one to sleep august 2006. I had been in a home before me and I was supposed to just take care of him until the breeder came home from Spai. You know the pulies ,they melt Your hart and BoyBoy did so as well. As he grow up, he constant starded picking on Batist (the bearded male )they way puli can if they start showing that side. It all went very wrong and he attacked my bearded in the forface and rept out to teeth and nearly his nose and went down to his forelegs. I tried had to seperate them as the bearded collie fight fore his life at that stage. I was bit very bad in my left arm . He was put to sleep when I was at the hospital, Batist lost to moore teeth and could nearly walk fore severel weeks . It was traumatic. Boy boy was postmortem and he had serius problems with his lever and kindney and a bit patella. He was a strong puli but really nice in his way. My first Puli I had fore 13 years ,sweet dearly ,calm from Pat Lanz .He was the most winning Puli in Norway through 12 years..... miss the puli.... but has a guite dog lifte with only the beardis .. ,so I think it will stay that way until my age says that puli again is right...
I just read on your homepage you had Puli. Is there still a Puli living with you? I grew up with Puli, my parents had one until 2003 when the last one died. Now they have a Löwchen, as it wasn't possible to for them to have another Puli puppy because of their age and me not living really close by. But there is still one living in our family, my sister's dog, going to be 7 years old.
I am still in love with this breed, but todays Puli are much smaller than the ones we had since 1967, so I will be stuck with these other hairy dogs ;-)
