i am so glad... we just adopted another beardie for a companion to Julio. his name is Rosco and he is a delight... i am so glad that you baby is doing well and u are sharing him with others... we are planning on doing something similar..best of luck!

I have to agree. the barking thisg seems to be a oyfull thing for us as well.. we just rescued a 4 year old beardie.(Julio) he has the best time "singing" he does the barking then he ooooo's and omomomom(kind of a oh mmmm oh mmmm groany thing) then…

well we did not exactly select Julio. He selected us. we were looking for a very active dog to be a skate partner with my hubs and girls. we wanted a rescue. so off to the pound we went. we looked at a few large dogs. but this guy was really great.…

stay at home mom of 4 children, 2 cats(1 siamese that believes he is a siamese bassett hound and 1 tortishell) a well as Julio & Rosco the rescued beardies! also a Navy vet married to an Air Force vet.We believe now that Julio is a cross between beardie and an Irish wolfhound..the look of an IW ,only smaller with markings and hair of a beardie (Irish Beardie? bearded wolfhound?)
Thank you Neva for sharing. Kenna continues to try and nip any visitor (either in yard or home)...we are also exploring fear aggression as a factor. We are going to get some books to see if anything will help.
