About Me:
I'm a mother of four human children (Kelly, Sarah, Brendan and Blake). To keep things rolling around here, I'm also a technical writer and project manager for globalization at a software company. The boyz and I train and trial in agility and herding, and are about to embark in Rally.... We also love our weekend hikes!
What a great collection of photos -- and such handsome brownie boys, too! I love shooting pictures of the Beardies playing in the snow. These are wonderful shots!!
It seems you're doing well here. We had the same thing with sewers here. Our house and three of our neighbors had septic tanks and across the street they had town hook-up to the sewer system. We finally got a varience when a new development went up.
I went on the beardie photo site. I had joined that about 10 years ago when I first got my computer and forgot about it. LOL I didn't know anyone then and I didn't know how to work any sites. I'll have to check it out again. Thanks.
That's it for now, have a great day up there in God's land.
Thanks, that's cool, its a Yahoo acct. So you live out in the middle of nowhere? Where in Canada? I wish I had more land for my Beardies. We have the beach but they have to stay on leash. The dog parks here are crowded. We are at the Jersey Shore.
No, this one works well for me. The people I write to most are on here. I love that I can chat with you now.
For the heck of it, what is the link of that group?
Have you been reading the scurmish on beardiepix? I hope it gets settled. It is one of those rock and a hard place topics. Some are subjected to what type of service they are offered for their computers in their area. This is worldwide and some people live on hilltops in the middle of nowhere.
I'm not sure any of us has a degree in Computer Science. I took all the courses, but refused to take some of the required classes (such as accounting 101) to graduate with a second degree. We have a lot of English majors, one guy who fixed radar in the Navy, and a music major.
I agree about the "back door" approach to tech writing careers. Before I went into that line of work, I taught high school for a couple of years -- and was a lab technician in clinical chemistry before that.
I did 2 years in telecom, but I'm primarily computer software (tools and APIs). My background is actually in biology and chemistry, and I started out as a tech writer in analytical chemistry before switching over to computers.
