I bought now this grooming spray, too. It is really good product. In our country aren´t Stuff, Laser lites and Plush puppy, we must it in foreighn shows to buy :-( But we are satisfied with bio-groom.

I use Bio-Groom, too. But want try this from Scottland´s club, it can be better or not.
I understand what you mean now. I have neever tried the products from Scottland's BC club, I use Bio-Groom and Nature's Specialites products.

Young beardies change so much she's 16 months so the photos are a bit out of date. she's starting to darken up, well her head and tail are any ways, I'm just hoping the middle bit joins in sometime in the near future.
Her eyes are light, a lot lighter than my first beardie's eyes and she's all I've got to compare to as I don't get to shows or see many beardies around. Your George looks a great character his coat's looking great as it's growing, I do like them at that in between stage though it makes them look like youngsters again. You're lucky your little guy goes to sleep being groomed Fee lies there waiting for the slightest tug so she try and get out of it. Not a chance though I keep telling her I'm in charge hoping one day she'll believe me!!!

I don't really know much about the different lines, I suppose that's something I'll learn to recognise and understand with time. They are all just Beardies to me! I would like a slate or blue bitch. Ideally. But I'll just have to see what arrives in the next litter!
I know only two well the nose peg and the 'I'm going in....' I babysit for one sometimes, and when she has the runs....it's not pleasant is it??! I have my trusty hairdressing scissors though :)

I borrow my friend's Beardie as often as I can, she's beautiful, and I can relate to the constant matt war. It never ends. Can't wait to have my own :)

Last night Moll was just here there and everywhere, whereas the previous couple of nights she had been quite content to be fussed over!! Interesting about the motor bikes/bales - my husband brought a big bag of compost in the other day and put it in the corner of the garden, Moll spent ages asking it what it was and what it was doing, quite vocally!
Will listen more carefully to her barks too to see if I can discern what she is saying! So far she doesn't bark a lot - just every now and then.
Will look at for that book, although it its too sad not sure if I could finish it - I weep buckets over the children's film based on the Incredible Journey!!!!

Southern Counties Bearded Collie Club Summer Day!
This was yesterday and we took George. He won second most handsome boy!!! His first rosette! Unfortunately, neither me nor my partner are any good at taking photos so there isn't any good'uns to put up here. I will try and get the best one but no promises! lol

Hair Diary
Well after my chuffed-ness at the less than an hour grooming sessions I have had a matt-fest today and yesterday! I began grooming him last night and did a quick brush to sort through the hairs and work out major matts.
There were quite a few reasonably small matts around his upper arms/biceps(???) which I worked out today. I spent a while combing him right through and he looks fab again :)
All in all it went ok apart from a couple accidental tugs, at least he still loves me :)

I missed a week! Doh :)
Today I brushed George on the table, he dozed whilst I brushed which was nice. I think he really likes the table now because he knows what is going to happen the minute he is up there so he just gets on with it :) The last two grooming sessions have taken less than an hour which is great! We went out for a good walk around the park after. I took the ball and chucked it about a bit, because it was hot we had a sit down in the shade together. Ok, we sound like a married co… Continue

Hair Diary
I just brushed George again. We had some visitors last week and they left his collar on after they took him for walks and I realised that this has caused lots of matts around his neck and the back of his ears. It took me just over two hours to get him all done! He dozed on the table so at least he made it easier for me :) He looks good and I have some new photos to post when I get around to it! So pleased with his long hair! He looks like a proper beardie!

Hair Diary
I have just finished washing George with his new shampoo and conditioner. Went well with no Houdini acts for once! The shampoo was very good and got rid of loads of dirt and whitened him up nicely. The conditioner was so nice and he feels softer so far. I only dried his undercoat with the hairdryer so he wouldn't catch cold, so I will have to see how it is when he fully dries out. I will use the conditioner as a grooming spray also so hopefully his coat will get into a better condition soon :) O… Continue
