Well after my chuffed-ness at the less than an hour grooming sessions I have had a matt-fest today and yesterday! I began grooming him last night and did a quick brush to sort through the hairs and work out major matts.
There were quite a few reasonably small matts around his upper arms/biceps(???) which I worked out today. I spent a while combing him right through and he looks fab again :)
All in all it went ok apart from a couple accidental tugs, at least he still loves me :)
